About
Consent should not be the first time you hear a second view
Most patients say yes to surgery having heard one opinion, from one team, on one day. SurgeryVerdict exists to make the alternative view fast enough to actually be useful.
Second opinions are not rare because patients do not want them. They are rare because they are slow, awkward to ask for, and usually arrive after the surgery date is already booked. Speed is the whole product.
So we built the review pipeline around a clock and two quality gates rather than around a consultation calendar. Records are checked before a reviewer is assigned. The reviewer fills a structured verdict rather than writing a letter. A coordinator reads it against your original questions before it reaches you.
And because your fee is held in escrow rather than taken up front, the promises on this site are enforceable: late verdicts are credited, unmatched cases are refunded.
Our principles
- 01
Match on procedure, not department
The reviewer performs your proposed operation regularly, or we decline the case.
- 02
Structure over prose
Fixed verdict sections make opinions comparable, checkable and honest about disagreement.
- 03
Say the disagreement out loud
Every verdict states plainly whether it agrees with the proposed surgery. No hedging.
- 04
Promises with money behind them
Escrow, automatic service-level credits, full refund when we cannot help.
- 05
Auditable by default
Every access and every step is logged per case, and you can ask for the log.
